12.6 Define a service point - Connect two objects
Drag the « connection » in the Amarco Designer stencil and glue it on two objects. If the
service point is new, right click and select design, or select « Design » on the toolbar. If the
service point is already defined in the database, use the search buttons and assign on service
point found to the shape.
When all connections are assigned, press « Save in to the database » button. The service
points will be assigned to objects. The connection orientation will determine the nature of the
service points assigned to the objects. If the connection line traverses the structure object, this
will also be provided with the service points.
12.7 Change object attributes (name…)
Select the object, then use the command design. To activate the save command, press the Edit
button.
12.8 Change a structure
You add / delete internal / external objects and connections using Visio. When you are
finished, press “Save” button in the database.
12.9 Change the object / service points type
The organization criteria are defined using Amarco Repository. You assign a type including a
set of organization criteria to an object or an service point. The object / service point form
displays the related organization criteria. When you change the object / service point type,
you must close and reopen the definition form, to display the new organization criteria.
