Amarco cartography – quick user guide
14.1 General
This software helps you manage Amarco diagrams.

The software enables automatic diagram generation and the creation of drill-up drill down
Webs.

To quickly restart the navigation and reach the entry form, press « Home » on the toolbar.
Two general types of diagrams are managed by Amarco Cartography:
Diagrams for a structure object. They display an object with contained objects, with
external objects and with connections. You size and place the objects. In a new diagram,
the objects will be initially positioned by Amarco cartography. Upon your command,
Amarco Cartography will update the captions, the labels, set the connections, and apply a
drawing style defined and selected by you.
Embedded diagrams. These diagrams display embedded objects down to a depth
indicated by you. They are completely automatic.
Amarco Cartography manages the following diagram types:
External architecture – display the object, the external agents and the connections
Internal architecture - display the object, the internal and the external agents and the
connections
System diagram – embedded diagram
Scenario diagrams – Internal architecture diagram with a scenario mapped on it
