Modeling of Service oriented processes

Your requirement

  • Model service oriented processes
    • demonstrate service use and reuse
    • understand and present the business process flow
    • demonstrate the advantage of using services in the process definition
  • Use a solution that does not tie you to a supplier technology and solutions

Your problems

You realize that the available modeling solutions are very tightly tied to vendor's technology for implementation...

Solution

In Amarco, processes are made of services. These services must be previously defined before defining a process. This open the possibility to build multiple processes by reusing the same services.

Please note that "service oriented process" does not mean compulsorily "web service". You can apply this viewpoint to your own current processes. This will bring a new clarity and understanding between the business and IT people, as you can show dynamically how your process work and identify services exchanged.

Here you find an animation of a process made of  requested and rendered services. This animation implements our exclusive Unistep visualization technology - show the information for one step only at a time, thus improving the readability of the diagram.

It is a Viewlet CAM (Qarbon) movie made with direct screen capture during manual animation. Click on Play to see the animation!
