Caller identification (CID) Nino Contacts presents the information about who's calling before you pick up the phone. Nino Contacts Standard supports the caller identification (CID) for one line. Nino Contacts Pro watches simultaneously two lines. How it works You must have a modem that supports the caller identification ("caller ID"). Also this service must be activated by your telecom operator. Another possibility is to use a local PABX with the TAPI interface enabled. The IP PABX are often provided with this interface. To activate the caller identification you must select the phone line and the modem. Nino Contacts detects automatically the phone lines that can be activated. You also select the desired behavior of Nino Contacts:
When a call is detected, Nino Contacts explores all its database to find the phone number. If it finds it, it will display the phone information (business phone, home, mobile etc), as well as the caller information.
