OrMedia - new features

OrMedia 3.0 Available : OrMedia displays graphically how documents are spread on a volume. This is particularly useful for archived CD's that were scanned by OrMedia and put in its database. If you use a CD Writer, you may create an archive with all CD's documents and see their organization without mounting it.

You can see how documents are spread in various directories. OrMedia changes the color of directories containing the selected documents. The virtual tree is generated from OrMedia's database. It does not request the presence of the volume. A better image (80 K)
You can display the virtual tree with all documents for a volume, even if it is not mounted.  For example, you can see how the documents in the category   "Marketings" are spread in various directories. With the mouse (or with the wheel, if you have an Intellimouse) you see all the virtual tree that presents the organization of your documents. A better image (80 K)

Other features :

• Network support - you can share the same information between multiple users, each one with OrMedia. Simply put the database part of OrMedia on your shared drive (Windows 95/98, NT). Each local OrMedia must be registered.
• Support of multiple databases - you can define and use various databases for your document
