OrMedia creates automatically a database with your MP3 files. And if you have a CD Writer, you can easily find the CD that contains that tune. OK, this is not critical if you have only two CD's, but starting from 5...

First you have to launch OrMedia to update the database. You specify the search criteria: the drive and the file types - in this case - directories and MP3 files and directories.

Later you can search for MP3 files. With this form you select the criteria. In this example you select from the list the volume that interests you.

You get the MP3 files that are on the selected volume (teh CD). Of course, the CD does not need to be mounted. Now you can assign organization criteria to each file (recording): keywords, author, personal notes...

You can display the files organization. The volume does not need to be mounted either.

You can select a recording and see the related information.

You can start your favorite player with this tune (Yes, you had to insert the CD first...)
